About AKSSDA

All Kerala Scientific & Surgical Dealers Association commonly knows as AKSSDA formed in the year 1991 to serve as a platform for Scientific & Surgical Dealers, Manufacturers, Allied Industries and Trades to come together and promote co-operation and foster friendship amongst the members.

One of the primary objectives of the association is to remove any trade difficulties that the members may face and represent their views officially on any matter that may affect them.

Furthermore, the association seeks to promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting the Trade, and it aims to settle disputes between members or arbitrate disputes between parties.

The AKSSDA has established district committees in all 14 districts of Kerala to better serve its members and promote local engagement. These committees act as a liaison between the association and its members, providing support and guidance on local issues related to scientific and surgical devices & equipment sales and service.

The district committees organize regular meetings, seminars, and training sessions for members to keep them updated on the latest trends and developments in the industry in addition to charity activities. AKSSDA also facilitate networking opportunities for members to share knowledge and build relationships with other professionals in the field.

In addition to serving the needs of its members, the AKSSDA is also dedicated to advancing the interests of the scientific and surgical equipment industry as a whole. The association works closely with government agencies and industry partners to advocate for policies and regulations that promote innovation, safety, and quality.
